When You Feel Surrounded

Have you ever felt like life’s troubles were closing in on every side? The servant of Elisha once woke up to see an army surrounding the city, and fear gripped his heart. But Elisha prayed, “Lord, open his eyes so that he may see.” And suddenly, the servant saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire—all of heaven’s armies standing guard!

That same God who opened the servant’s eyes is still at work today. No matter what you’re facing—fear, sickness, loss, or uncertainty—you are never alone. God’s power surrounds you even when you can’t see it!

“Do not be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” (2 Kings 6:16)
