There was a moment in Israel’s history when an entire generation rose up who didn’t know the Lord or the mighty things He had done. How could that happen? Somewhere along the way, the baton of faith was dropped.
Paul refused to let that happen in his day. Instead of running his race alone, he poured into Timothy, who poured into others, so that the Gospel would keep spreading long after Paul was gone.
And that’s our challenge at Beaver Creek. We are not here to be a church of memories, but a church of mission. We are a body, and every member has a gift that matters. Some teach, some serve, some give, some lead—but all are called to step up and carry the baton.
This is not about buildings or titles—it’s about legacy. It’s about faith passed from one generation to the next. Because if we don’t pass it on, we risk losing a generation. But if we do, the name of Jesus will be remembered, revealed, and exalted for years to come.
