What do you do when you know how to smile, shake hands, and say, “I’m blessed,” but deep down your heart is tired? What do you do when life has been loud, the pressure has been heavy, and joy feels harder to hold onto than it used to? Maybe you have been carrying questions nobody hears. Maybe you have been fighting battles nobody sees. Maybe you have been trying to stay strong while something inside keeps asking, “Lord, what now?”
Psalm 47 reminds us that joy is not found in everything going right. Joy is found in remembering who God is. God is still King. God is still victorious. God has still been good. The world offers joy that fades when circumstances change, but the joy of Father God goes deeper. It can hold you when life is uncertain. It can steady you when the battle is real. It can rise in you even when the answer has not come yet.
Because the King is still on the throne, the Victor is already crowned, and the Father has not stopped being good. Your situation may be real, but your God is greater.
